You have likely tried more than willpower.

Weight is influenced by more than motivation alone.

Sleep, stress, hormones, medications, mental health, blood sugar, appetite regulation, lifestyle, and medical history may all affect progress. If any of these sound familiar, a medical evaluation is a better next step than another program.

Hunger feels difficult to control
Your energy is consistently low
Previous diets have not lasted
Weight changed during menopause or midlife
Medications may be contributing

Treatment approach

Medication may help. The surrounding care matters too.

When clinically appropriate, prescription medication may support weight loss and metabolic health. Your MaxHealth plan can also address nutrition, activity, sleep, behavioral patterns, related conditions, and long-term maintenance.

Clinical evaluation

A provider reviews your history before any plan is set.

GLP-1 where appropriate

Semaglutide, tirzepatide, and other options may be considered when clinically indicated.

Movement recommendations

Labs and monitoring

Testing when appropriate, with progress tracked over time.

Fitness and coaching

On-site or virtual personal training and health coaching.

Your plan may include some or all of these, based on your clinical evaluation.

Medication, responsibly

A prescription should follow an evaluation.

Medication can be a meaningful part of care, but it is a clinical decision made with your provider. Here is what a responsible plan accounts for.

Check Your Eligibility
Not every patient qualifies
Different medications carry different benefits and risks
Insurance coverage varies
Medication cost may be separate
Side effects require monitoring
Long-term treatment decisions are individualized
Lifestyle, coaching, and fitness remain part of the plan
Hormonal contributors can be evaluated alongside weight

Does MaxHealth prescribe GLP-1 medications?

MaxHealth providers may prescribe GLP-1 or other weight-management medications when they are clinically appropriate and legally available. Treatment eligibility depends on your medical history, current health, risks, goals, and provider evaluation.

Does completing the assessment mean I qualify for medication?

No. The assessment helps MaxHealth understand your concerns and route you toward an appropriate consultation. Medication eligibility can only be determined through clinical evaluation.

Are medications included in the membership price?

Medications are not included in the monthly membership fee. Our team works with your provider to help you find the most affordable options, and Comprehensive members have a personal pharmacist to help with medication costs.

Does every patient need laboratory testing?

No. Testing needs vary by patient, treatment pathway, medical history, and provider judgment. Your provider will explain which tests may be appropriate and whether they carry a separate cost.

Can I receive care virtually?

Virtual appointments may be available depending on your location, provider, medical needs, and state requirements. Some conditions, testing, or treatments may require an in-person visit.

Get started

Your next step should be clearer than your last attempt.

A few minutes now, and a real medical evaluation of what has been getting in the way.
